This stunning oval shaped Larimar has a deep blue color with bright white veining running throughout. It is skillfully wrapped in Sterling Silver wire to form this fabulous pendant. Approximately 1 3/4" long by 1" wide.

ABOUT LARIMAR
From deep in a mine in the Dominican Republic comes one of the earth’s rarest stones. With color ranging from shades of sky and sea blue to green, with veins of white, sometimes with inclusions of other minerals such as hematite. Larimar is actually a blue form of the mineral Pectolite that was formed by volcanoes many years ago. It is found in "tubes" created by those volcanoes. Although Pectolite exists elsewhere in the world, it only occurs in the blue form in this one place, the Dominican Republic on the island of Hispaniola in the Caribbean.
Spiritul healers believe that Larimar affects the throat chakra, opening lines of communication and healing past hurts. Larimar is also known as Atlantis Stone, Stefilia's Stone and Dolphin stone.
