About Moldavite
Moldavite is a mossy green, translucent mineral formed by the impact of a meteor in the Moldau River Valley of Czechoslovakia nearly 15 million years ago. Minerals formed in this way, by the high velocity impact of a meteor, are known as a Tektites, from the Greek word “tektos” meaning molten.
Sometimes referred to as the “Transformation Stone”, Moldavite is known to be a stone of very high energy and vibration, and is considered a powerful Chakra activator, resonating with the Heart, 3rd Eye, and Crown Chakras in particular.
