About Turquoise
Turquoise is an opaque stone found in colors ranging from a bright blue to green blue or yellow blue. It usually has black, brown or gray inclusions of the matrix rock in which it is found. It’s use for jewelry dates back thousands of years. While most cultures believed that turquoise was a stone of protection, some cultures would adorn horse saddles and bridles to protect from falls.
