A truly unusual piece. Beautiful free-form Turquoise stone is a stunning two-tone of green-blue on the top half and a yellow-brown shade on the bottom caused by the presence of iron. Wrapped in Sterling Silver, this is a gorgeous pendant. The pendant measures approximately 2 1/8" high by 1 1/8" wide.

About Turquoise
Turquoise is an opaque stone found in colors ranging from a bright blue to green blue or yellow blue. It usually has black, brown or gray inclusions of the matrix rock in which it is found. It’s use for jewelry dates back thousands of years. While most cultures believed that turquoise was a stone of protection, some cultures would adorn horse saddles and bridles to protect from falls. It is also a symbol of friendship. Turquoise is the birthstone for December.
